In Octopath, especially with the boss battles, there's a lot more because as the bosses get more challenging and more elaborate, they present really interesting scenarios. You wind up in this much more min-maxies strategic thinking layer than just I would have all attacked the first few guys and we'll see what happens. But to throw another game in there, this is also a lot like Marvel's Midnight Sun. Especially the later battles in that game.
