Consumer discretionary stocks, not tech, are the best performing sector of the stock market since this bull market began 13 months ago. Consumer prices rose at their slowest pace in two years last month according to the latest consumer price index figures from the labor department. A strong dollar hurts the bottom lines of megacap-based US companies who derive more than half of their sales outside of this country.
