Night Shift Workers - Are They Carcinogenic?
Night shift workers face a bigger problem and that they're working against their biology. You start to see after five, 10, 15 years, some serious issues emerging. We may be unique across the species of the world in that we can override our incredible drive for sleep by activating the stress axis. So what could we do to help them? One of the interesting things is that on the drive home after the night shift, junior doctors reported 57% crash or limbist driving home. I'm amazed that nobody's been smart enough to develop a night shift friendly food package. A protein rich, easy to digest. It doesn't exist as far as I'm aware in any of our night shift factories
