"It's about life work balance. I don't say work life balance, I think we should learn this as life work balance," says San Diego surfer and former Navy captain Tom Zoellner. "What you've built as your life, your relationships, the people, the family around you, your personal health, that's really what's going to matter in the long run." Stopping by a fire or reading books can also be good breaks for leaders who want to focus on their lives more than they do at work. 'I love it as a way to get myself away from the day they grind,' he adds.
