There was a petition by activists calling for the comedian to be banned from TV, radio and BBC. They said that he was inciting women to kill themselves. He says they were misunderstanding of what the joke was doing. And this is like, this is absolutely everywhere now - it's not just in terms of comedy, but in terms of art as well.
