The Lion of Judah
King Jehoah king of Judah reigned from 609 to about 597 BC. He was not one of the great kings, but one who would continue spreading misery around. As he says, he became a young lion, he learned to catch prey and devoured men. And this is a lamentation because it didn't have to happen this way. But Zedekiah gets planted by King Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon; she's not suited to rule.
