I think eventually it burns itself out. Instagram life is where you judge your life by aesthetic criteria. And after a while, it doesn't really add up too much. Most people suffer what the concept that was very prominent in the Middle Ages - loss of desire. Like, your heart is not really engaged in your own life. Your heart is over here, but your life is sort of over there.
