How to Test a Cryptocurrency Market?

i typically pick a 20 17, or sometimes a little earlier, as a starting point. The reason for that is thatits really around the time when the market shifted from mainly spot based exchanges to futures and what's called perpetual swaps exchanges. And so i think the price activity really changed around that time because you introduced the effects of liquidations and forced selling bying. But things also move very quickly in the crypto space. If you were to just look at bi coin in particular, since its inception, it's gone through probably four, five complete bullan bear cycles,. which are things that typically take decades to play out in equity or other traditional markets.
