The Speed of Ministerial Turn Is Counter Counter to Good Government
I completely agree unfortunately with you on the on the speed of ministerial turn. It is extraordinary and it is counter counter to good government. Is it as much a question of government strategy and the ability of successive governments to set along term strategy almost regardless of who is the justice secretary or housing minister or whoever. And so the problem lies as much in that kind of deeper ability of governments to identify their priorities and then stick with them over the course of parliamentary term to actually affect change which clearly is a bad thing.
