Scaling Without Kubernetes

I think a reasonable counter argument to that is saying that you're over engineering. Hacker News for a very long time has just been like one server and like maybe a backup server. So it's definitely, it seems like just because it's the most common way that companies scale is they'll add more and more services or stuff like that. But it is worth noting that it's not the only way to do it. There's other companies that do it other ways.
