The Juncture Between Desire and Clinging
The Buddha separated wanting and clinging out in this teaching of dependent origination. Clinging is the holding onto or the grasping at either the object of our desire or the desire itself. This is our last chance to free ourselves from the sequence before we act. If we miss the clinging, that's going to condition some action or other. But it's a very interesting juncture, this juncture between desire and clinging.
