We have to get better at distinguishing between reality and fantasy, i think. We need escapism but that doesn't mean we cana pledge ourselves to be realistic. Even thati is a momentof a basically vicarious thrill of being good, safe, strong, powerful,. something like that. Ok. So what is the difference between good and bad escapeism? It's about whether you remember to come back. You don't take your flights of fancy, but always with a return ticket to reality secure in your heart pocket.
