The Different Types of Proteins for Vegetarians
Beans are much higher in protein than other vegetables. Nuts are usually also included in lists of protein foods for vegetarians. Peanuts are technically legumes or beans, but we generally lump them in with the nuts because of their nut-like fat content. People who include beans and nuts in their diets on a more regular basis tend to lower disease risks overall.
