The patient had fibro muscular displasia of the right renal artery with underlying aneurism, formation and senosis. She was sent for a conventional angeography of her renal arteries. In a case of multi focal fbre muscular displesa, the affected vessels show the typical beating pattern,. looks like beads on a string. And there can be focal f m d, where you may have only one area of narrow rank. But i think we have enough information gathered in our own clinic that we should really pursue some more invasive testing.
