We know from quantum physics that empty space is a seething soup of what we call virtual particles popping in and out of existence. And so, and guess what we call the vacuum energy, just Google that vacuum energy. There's an energy in the vacuum of space that quantum physics puts there. So you do the calculation from its dark energy, we measure, then you do the calculations for how much pressure is coming in from these virtual particles pop-in/pop-out.
