Most of the serotonin in the body, 90% is produced in the gut. The bacteria that live there can produce vitamins for us. They help us digest our food so we can actually use it and assimilate it in our bodies much more easily. But then again, if we don't take care of them, the converse happens, right? We get the not so friendly gut bugs that do things that aren't great for us.
