Gamergate and the Right to Be in a Conversation

There are restrictions on speech in the real world that are not necessarily related to whether it violates the First Amendment, but whether it sort of disturbs the peace or targets an individual. So this is where you start to see gamergate come into play. Twitter begin to shift its moderation policies towards recognizing that brigading is very much a risk to the other person's speech as well. It would be very strange for people to form a literal physical mob and walk around a target screaming at them in thereal world. This is not a behavior that we tolerate.
