A new book called Only You Can Stop an AI Apocalypse has been published. Author David Chapman is a PhD in AI from MIT and former successful biotech founder. In the book, he argues that we should be worried about malicious uses of artificial intelligence for short-term purposes as well as nation to nation conflict. He says most AI researchers think AI will have overall positive effects but they don't know how it could affect civilization or lead to catastrophe.
