The writer Paul Woodruff in his book, The Necessity of Theater, writes that love demands an audience. Justice demands an audience, which is where we have trials in public. You place a lot of emphasis on public events as drama that you stage as part of organizing. They're kind of ritualistic in that it seems you are teaching people how to re-conceptualize and control their public space in relation to power.
