Cloud Security - Is There a Control That Isn't Working in the Cloud?

There are certain things that don't work on premise and controls that we don't necessarily think about as a security practitioner because they haven't been available to us. There are so another pitfall we see is what we call replicated controls, right? Where you have a controls checklist and a lot of us are compliance driven. It's good to make sure you have all of your controls covered. But if you're taking a control perspective, you're going to lose the benefit of some of the things in the cloud. You really want to shift to that threat modeling perspective.
