The Importance of Player Recovery
"I don't think there's any magical tricks to, to recovery. There's obviously a nutritional component," he says. "There's a fluid component and then there's a muscle recovery and a general sort of fatigue recovery." He adds that the warm down is pretty important but not taken very seriously by many players. The following day they would do a recovery session which included ice bards on foam rollers or gentle pool sessions.
