Is Lacan a Post-Structuralist?

Lacan is a structuralist of the real, and that's another reason why it's not appropriate to think of him as a post structuralist. He doesn't really talk about odds and evens like he does in seminar 20. And what he wants to try to do is he wants to figure out a way out of the series. But his whole point is that the serialization itself is what's a generative of novel. It seems crazy that he doesn't talk about the real in this example because it's right there.
