Capitalism and Desire - What Was the Motivation for Writing This Book?
i wanted to understand why capitalism had had the ad the durability that it seems to have. So i didn't think there was a good psychoanalytic take on capitalism, and i wanted to understandWhy people are invested in capitalism even though they have lots of reasons not to be. Is there some kernel of capitalism that is responsible for its staying power when it should be maybe gone? You know. And so that's really what i wanted to get at,. Like everyone else on the left, is somewhat or i have been alwayson ounded by the fact that people are investments in capitalism still.
