The Transition to a Green Economy Is Not Pain Free

Technology already exists that can remove carbon to oxide from the atmosphere. All fusion power is known to be possible, which will make every debate over electricity generation hitherto completely redundant. People may see their energy bills increase, but that's just part of the process. Being optimistic about renewables is the one form of optimism that is permitted on every other technology - we must be pessimistic. It's as if there are competing financial interests at play motivating reasoning in one direction or another.
