I think there's a genuine awareness, coming to the end of that rope and saying, actually, this doesn't work. And where do we find our moralism and our standards? If pleasure and happiness aren't going to satisfy us, where on earth do we go? How do we find meaning? There's a deep sense for many of we don't want to go back to religion. We're afraid of what religion might do. But I believe God has put in each one of us, that cries out for something other than self,. Other than this flat materialism.
