My grandfather was Czech. He moved to Bulgaria at the time when Bulgaria was kind of drawing in engineers. And he lived for the first 40 years, starting from nothing. At the age of 16, he became by the age of 40 a textile magnet. But then communism came and he was taken out because they wanted to enlarge the textile industry. So he continued to work in the same profession for the next 30 years. Before that, they were hardworking, very innovative,. adaptive, came up with new ideas. After communism, they became the diametrically opposite type of person.
