How Do Cats Respond When They Hear Their Owner's Voice?

Researchers went to the homes of 16 different cats and played recordings of different voices. The scientists set up three different scenarios with these recordings. In the first scenario, they found that ten of the sixteen cats responded to the sound of their owner's voice. But what happened when they heard the stranger's voice? Well, the responses were subtle but the researchers noticed that when these cats heard their owner's call their name, they did things like move their ears toward the voice. They also started moving their bodies around, and their pupils got bigger.
