Eudorus and Pythagorean Philosophy
Eudorus adopted something like antiochus idea of a unified tradition centered on plato's writings. But he did not claim that all non sceptical philosophers were basically in agreement with one another. Rather than embracing aristotle as a mostly faithful student of plato, eudorus criticized points in aristotle's logical work,. He also differed from ant Antiochus in that he did not make plato the fount of all philosophical wisdom. Stead, he saw pythagoras as the primary figure.
