When you joined journalism, what was your notion of what makes for an ideal journalist? What excited you about journal per se? And as you got into it, how did your notion of journalism evolve. Where do you begin to anchor yourself in terms of the values that journalism should have? When i look around the journalistic landscape to day, you seem a little bit of an outlier, which, I mean entirely as a compliment.
