I Was Like, You Know, a Cat in a Prison
"I lost a lot of weight anyway. It's like you did not physically have enough time to eat the food," he says. "The food was better there than it had been in the county" He recalls playing Tonk or Tonk with an older man who taught him about burglaries and bank robberies. The routine at Ross County Correctional Institution is every day: breakfast, work, lunch, then back to work for another half hour before bedtime.
