Most of the utility on the internet doesn't come from what facebook can directly do with its consumer application into snap chat, but it's the underlying protocols. We may well have balkanized internets. If we have that world, does that prevent a metavers or do we just have balkanised Metaverses? I think over past 15 years, we have seen increasing regionalization in the internet. And so the mixture of regulatory forking, plus the increasing societal importance of the internite probably means that we at least have larger differences than we're used to.
