Whiteness and the Race in the World
White supremacy is rooted not in a sense of superiority but almost in the terror of that superiority and the world it had created slipping away. Today we get today something called global whiteness that seems to bear little connection to specific social structures and histories so i'm interested what is your account of how this notion of whiteness has developed and maybe even more importantly why it's developed. What function does it serve? We're no longer between anglos accents and uh whites anglos accents in the irish or or slavs um but much more between whites and broadly defined, blacks and browns and yellows as they'll call them.
