The Importance of Minimizing Contact

It really is appropriate to minimize contact or occasionally go no contact and depending on the case. I think as a culture and coming from the mental health field in particular, since I'm a licensed clinical social worker, we're always fighting the last war. It's common that courts and counselors want to get high conflict people together to work out their issues. And frankly, if it's a high conflict person, that may not be realistic. We need to start accepting that and allow people to put up some boundaries between them.
