The origins of crack are actually English, not Irish. Patrick professed no real interest in Christianity as a young boy. He was kidnapped and sent overseas to 10 sheep as a slave for seven years. According to folklore, a voice came to Patrick in his dreams telling him to escape. After he died on March 17th, 461, Patrick was largely forgotten.
