The idea that it's like a cult behind it all is possible, but there's a few questions that kind of were raised in my mind. Obviously the idea of motive, but it also doesn't mesh super well with a lot of broadly accepted checklists for cults. You have ritualistic characteristics, i.e. the dancing and the non-stop dancing. And some of the things that don't necessarily stand out here are a worshiped leader or a worshiped anything.
