The Psychomakia

The sense of Christian life as a drama began very early in the history of the faith. C.S. Lewis actually writes about this poem in his book, The Allegory of Love. So he's a divided self. He's torn. He's back and forth, back and forth. Maybe that doesn't sound like a very attractive thing to be. Who wants to be torn in that way? What if the alternative is to be whole but lost?
