In the first half of the 90s, how many slaves were involved in slavery? I think 300,000. A conservative estimate is 12 million Africans exported from Africa to the Americas throughout this period. The middle passage replicates and reproduces exactly what happens in plantations. Some argue that the numbers of slaves outweigh masters 4 to 1.
