The Role of Diversity in Elite College Admission
There's two possible rationales for emphasizing diversity as it was emphasized and allowed as a goal by Baki the Baki decision. One is that all students benefit from, you know, and I sort of buy into that although there's always the compensating Robert put them point which is people trust their own ethnic group more so maybe if you were looking for a cure for cancer, you really would trust people of your own ilk more. The idea being that you need a kind of diverse pipeline at elite colleges to ensure that those are two different diversity rationales. That's not the way to go. Well that's your kind of eccentric take on all this because you're anti meritocracy.
