How to Reverse Engineer a Keyboard

The easiest device to reverse engineer is a protocol that uses some kind of checksum or other like integrity message. A lot of them are really easy, but sometimes they're not as easy and we've run into some of those before. We have to calculate some kind of verification code based on the packet before you send it. But if I had to go for a hard device these days knowing how to reverse engineer stuff,. It would basically be anything that use some kind of CRC or checksum or other like decode because decoding can help with this.
