Brian Elliott is a senior vice president at Slack. He's also the executive leader of something called the Future Forum, which is a think tank about the future of work. Brian thinks that middle managers in particular have it the hardest. This environment, particularly for middle managers is a lot worse. It was very interesting and quite surprising to hear some of the stats on what happened during the pandemic around a lot of mothers and child caregivers having to pull themselves out of the workplace.
