What Do You Think of the Book of Acts?
The book of acts begins with the question of what christ's death and resurrection means for israel. At that time, the book relates not just the movement of the gospel out into the wider world, but the jews ongoing rejection of the message. In ad 70, paul still has hearers among the jews, as we see in these final verses, but for the most part they have rejected their messiah. A question to consider: are there any other prominent themes from the book of acts that you can see reappearing in this final passage?
