Toxo plasmosis is a parasite that its reproductive cycle needs to take place in the intestines of a cat. It affects the neuro chemistry of rats and globally, it makes them less riscovers. People who are absolutely obsessed with cats may be infected in the same way. Neither sex is affected more - they're just affected in slightly different ways.
