The problem arises from the overreach of a overgrowing administration. I would say that in your beautiful phrasing, I would say the administration is the barbarians of the gate. So the solution is smaller bureaucracy, small administrations. Is there needs to be a redistribution of power to what makes universities beautiful? The old students and young students, old students being professors. That's the whole point. And then the administration just gets in the way.
