The Blood of the Passover Lamb That Covered Us

The blood of the Passover lamb covered us so that we could be spared from this strike of Yahweh's justice. Jesus was looking to the Hebrew prophets who looked forward to a new relationship that God would enter into with his people. This cup is connected to the blood of the lamb and he said, this cup is the new covenant in my blood is poured out for you. No one had ever said anything like this before. And somehow we need to have this meal that I thought was about the Pass but now I'm actually ingesting and participating his body.
