Commander's Palace - What's It All About?

The Brennan's took over Commander's Palace about 68, 69 years ago. Ellen and Dottie had "literally no idea what they were doing" when they started taking reservations at commanders. The restaurant has been a staple of the New Orleans culinary scene since it was founded in 1540s.
