The Inflection of Converbs
You might have converbs where the inflection is defective. This is most common in Africa, but it does pop up in other places. Niv has three classes of subject marking on converbs. So you don't have to just pick one way of answering the co-reference and arguments question. You might have several answers or several solutions all in the same language.
