i don't expect any big surprises at the 20th party congress which happens on 16th of October where Xi Jinping should have stepped down if he hadn't awarded himself a third term. i think this sort of open source research is is really more powerful than ever despite some of the tightening that's going on in china and these are all freely available online to anyone who wants to look for them. The nature of the party state bureaucracy creates all these openings for research and ways for information to get out and it also means that the party invests so much effort in talking to itself and recording what it's doing keeping track of what the party is actually trying to do and what it's achieving
