How to Be a Better Designer

I've always been interested in teaching people how to be better designers, especially with visual design. When I look at a website and realize it's not particularly well done in the first three seconds, my mind must be processing hundreds of different things about the interface. Like this heading has a line height that's too big, and it drives me mad. So just sharing that knowledge, I think, is kind of critical there.
