From the first time Slavoj Žižek visited Theory Underground, to commemorate our 1 year anniversary! Now being released as a stand-alone video and podcast episode. In the previous visit to TU we introduced Slavoj to the ideas of Nick Land, who he then wrote an article about. In this interview, we talk about the philosophical concept of The Event, Slavoj calls Underground Theory (our first collaborative volume) "my bible," he says nice things about the concept of timenergy (which he then fleshes out in the foreword to McKerracher's book Timenergy: Why You Have No Time or Energy. Finally, Slavoj agrees to debate Nick Land. We are still waiting to hear back from Land, as he has been on vacation for a few months. He DID say he would get back to us after vacation, so stay tuned!
