The Different Types of Research in Malware Research

I didn't realize that there was sort of the red versus blue kind of elements within the research space. Do folks tend to focus in the same area? We are pretty flexible. We try to experiment in different areas. And we don't get to work on the same thing or similar things over and over. I think reverse engineering is one of the main skills you need.
